OUR STORY
Gulf Coast & Co. (GCC) was born from a heartfelt vision: to make quality coffee accessible to everyone. During the challenging days of the pandemic, we moved from Manila to Davao and were struck by the limited coffee options available. The market was divided between high-end coffee shops and overpriced, low-quality supermarket brands. We knew there had to be a better way. In mid-2022, with a dream and a determination, we set up our first humble stall at Bankerohan, Davao. Our belief was simple yet powerful: coffee should be for everyone, priced fairly, and delivered conveniently. We asked ourselves, "Why does coffee need to come in fancy bags and exclusive shops? Why can't we focus on what truly matters—the beans—and offer them at a fair price?"
Driven by this passion, we opened our first store with minimal overhead, dedicating ourselves to quality and affordability above all else. This approach allowed us to pass on significant savings to our customers, offering premium coffee beans at prices everyone could afford. We soon learned that this insight extended beyond coffee, applying to many other products that we now supply such as coconut sugar and syrup, banana chips, green banana flour, and moringa tea. By mid-2023, our journey led us to Cebu, where we encountered similar challenges. We continued to expand further, and by the end of 2023, we successfully entered the Manila market, establishing our presence and proving that great coffee doesn't need to come with a high price tag.Our mission is far from complete.
